Whatever - Scalzi makes some good points here, but I feel that his criticism is a little narrow. This isn't one of those "both sides" things, I just think that the culture war combines with social media in a way that encourages people to be their worst selves in pursuit of winning. I shared out an episode of You Are Not So Smart that covers the same ground. It's not often about what we believe but ensuring that group identity is preserved.
