Monday Note - The fact that this article closes with the idea that EU's failure to regulate Facebook is at the center of the problem betrays the short-sighted way we are approaching this problem. Moving the burden of determining the "accuracy" of news sources to a corporation is an inadequate solution, but not as terrible as letting the EU and US governments do the same thing. Mass media has been around for sixty years, maybe teaching people actual media literacy and critical thinking would go a lot farther than playing wackadoodle whack-a-mole.
